Quite an interesting and up-to-date order for our time - a rack for placing mining farms.
The main functional solution of the rack was to come up with a system of modular shelves, on which it would be possible to set up mining blocks of various dimensions.
And of course, everything should be simple - one bolt only.

Project description:
The rack is made of a profile pipe 50x50 mm with additional strips for the preservation of aesthetics. We achieved similarity with the I-beam.
The main problem is mining of trusses in non-standard dimensions. They are assembled almost fully manually and don't have clear parameters. Their form is based on one principle - compact, but so that each one does not interfere with the other.
That's why making fixed shelves is not the best solution. One farm won't fit in eventually.
Shelves consist of a frame made of the same profile of 50x50 mm, as well as a metal wire mesh that I liked.
The principle of shelf modularity is simple:
- Along the supporting vertical profiles there are holes for the diameter of the bolt
- from the ends of the shelf in the frame a groove is cut, which includes a bolt
- the bolt is fixed in the supporting vertical at the correct height through the hole
- The shelf is mounted on the bolts, drowning them in the grooves
So we get a stable shelf on 4 pivot points. The pitch of the holes in the bearing is calculated to accommodate 4 non-standard farm mining units.
Warehouse wheels, as well as brackets screwed from above allow you to easily change the location of the entire rack, as well as hang it for loading and unloading.
