NOIRDark matter. Natural light.
I build the interior around two conditions: a restrained dark envelope and the light that changes it throughout the day. Metal, black wood and concrete connect the rooms into one space.

Light reveals the material
The apartment model and project drawings form the starting point. I refine objects, finishes and details, then examine the interior in daylight, at dawn and in the evening. Stainless steel furniture and composite wall cladding give reflections different depths.
My father’s drawing stands beside the plant in the living room. Books, tableware, textiles and everyday objects help describe the apartment as a place to live.
