EYE STAR table
EYE STAR table is a collaboration between Concept by Gleb Kirenkov, artist NATALIERUKA and the creative collective AGONY lab. The object brings together steel construction, original artwork and an image guided by the principle that form follows emotion.
From painting to object
The starting point was NATALIERUKA's painting Prey, in which strength meets predatory grace. Its tension was translated into the table's sharp lines and the dominant vertical of its base.
Form follows emotion
Function remains present, but it is not the form's only foundation. The table was designed as a sign within a space: a compact top is held by a graphic frame made to produce a forceful silhouette.
Steel and drawing
The base is made of steel with a matte black powder-coated finish. A stainless-steel top carries NATALIERUKA's artwork, while the central eye connects the object to the themes of inner vision and the pursuit of knowledge.
The scale of a manifesto
The table is 1,000 millimetres high, with a 256 × 256-millimetre top and a weight of 30 kilograms. Its small surface and substantial base make EYE STAR both a piece of furniture and an independent statement in an interior.
The collaboration was not reduced to applying an image to a finished object: the painting shaped the proportions, silhouette and the table’s way of occupying space. An emotional image became a structural decision.
