Web or mobile
A web application is easy to open through a link. A mobile application is worth considering when the task depends on a camera, notifications, device features or unreliable connectivity. Being listed in an app store does not provide a reason to use it.
The first release
Start with one complete workflow, clear roles and an outcome you can test. Agree where data comes from, who can change it and what happens when a request fails or the connection disappears. For an internal tool, walk through an employee’s actual shift before listing features.
Further work
Integrations, access controls, store submissions and support belong in the project scope. Their extent depends on the product and existing systems. Add features after testing the first release in use.
What you receive
A working application and source code, with documented roles, data and integrations. Release conditions, account ownership and future updates are agreed before handover.
Start a dialogue
Describe who will use the application and the recurring task it should make easier. See Dialogue for the available working formats.
