What to build
A team workspace, an enquiry or order management system, a management dashboard or an integration between existing tools. A dashboard shows the state of work; CRM supports customer relationships; automation moves data and performs agreed actions. The scope follows the task that needs to be completed.
Where to begin
Follow one process from its initial event to the result: who receives the task, where the data lives, who makes a decision and how work moves on. Record delays, repeated entry and exceptions. Then decide what an existing system can handle and where a custom tool is useful.
The first release
One complete workflow with clear roles, statuses and access rights. Data exchange needs rules for retries and reconciliation. A report needs metric definitions, sources and a refresh date. Before launch, test the ordinary case and situations where data is missing or an action fails.
What you receive
A working tool or configured data exchange, with documented roles, data and processing rules. Sources, source code for custom development and update responsibilities belong in the agreed handover.
Start a dialogue
Describe a process currently held together by manual work and the result your team needs. A diagram or an example without confidential data is enough for the first conversation. See Dialogue for working formats.
